The Space to Be is based around a newly renovated, large, attractive space in the Gyle Shopping Centre. It is a place for local people to get support from others, pick up information and build relationships.

We are building up capacity at the moment and so are open at various times during the week. If you don’t want to miss us, we are definately open on a Wednesday afternoon between 1 and 4pm!

Community Initiative of the Year
We are delighted that Space to Be has been awarded the 2023 Sceptre Award for Community Initiative of the year for Scotland & The North. The award recognises retail destinations which have made a positive impact on the local community. The continued support from Gyle Shopping Centre in getting Space to Be up and running as a community space has been invaluable - thank you Gyle, and to all of you who have got involved to support and enjoy the space!
